Inspired by a beautiful handle on his office window, Maurice Hennessy designed the iconic star symbol that would become his trademark in 1865 to categorize his Cognacs. This led to the creation of the 3-Star Cognac, now more popularly known as Hennessy VS. It is a sophisticated blend of over forty eaux-de-vie, or brandy parcels, sourced from the four best growing regions in the Cognac region.
