The nose is bold and distinct, with plenty of notes of cherry and wild berries (blackcurrant and raspberry) that transition into balsamic hints of thyme. The finish is characterized by a nice, delicately spicy flavor of tobacco and chocolate.

Palate: Aged in oak, this wine is dry, warm, and structured. It has a considerable amount of tannin and an acid note that are complemented with silky, smooth sensations.

Suggestions: It goes well with cold cuts, seasoned cheeses, game, duck, and guinea fowl, as well as roasts and braised meats.
