Hand-distilled Absolut Elyx is produced in Column 51, a 1921 copper rectification still composed entirely of copper. It is run by a small group of people who have inherited the skills and experience of previous generations of vodka and spirit producers.

The antique copper catalyzation technique, manual labor, and single estate wheat combine to create the silky smooth vodka. Copper has a natural ability to catalyze trace molecules present in spirit, which results in purified vodka with a highly sought-after silky texture and flavor.
